Frequently Asked Questions - Tax Collection

Town & County Taxes are due January 31^st without penalty.  In February there is a 1% penalty and in March there is a 2% penalty.  All unpaid bills as of April 1^st are turned over to the Saratoga County Treasurer’s Office.

Town & County bills are mailed December 31^st and should be received by the first week in January.

Contact the Town Clerk's Office immediately to confirm the mailing address is correct (518) 893-7432 ext. 300.

Contact you bank immediately.  All banks are required to request, in writing, tax bills they are holding in escrow.

Cash or Check (Made payable to the Town Tax Collector). We also accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover (fee will be applied).

The law does not allow for partial payments.  Town & County Taxes must be paid in full.

Tax bills and receipts can be printed from this website or you may contact the Town Clerk/Tax Collector’s Office.

School taxes are mailed from the school district and are paid to the school district.

Corinth School taxes are normally due in September.

Saratoga Springs School taxes can be paid in 2 installments – October & February
